This article is my favourite of all headlines I’ve written for any outlet. It’s both very, very silly but also manages to sound like a good tabloid headline. The story definitely followed the headline in this case, which isn’t always the way.
I’m also a fan and I’ve read Viz since I was 16.
It’s easily the biggest influence on my writing (closely followed by Sue Townsend, I’d imagine). So, I was pretty happy to receive an autographed annual the first year I started writing for them.
